OEKO-TEX Standard 100 is the most widely recognized textile safety certification in the world. Every component of the carpet — from the pile yarn and backing material to the adhesive and hang tag — is tested for harmful substances before certification is granted.
Our factory holds OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification covering all major product categories. Certificates are renewed annually and verified per product type. We can provide the current certificate for your specific product upon request.
What OEKO-TEX Tests For
| Category | Substances Tested | Limits |
| Formaldehyde | Free and released formaldehyde | Below 16 mg/kg (Class II) |
| Azo Dyes | 24 banned aromatic amines | Not detectable (<30 mg/kg) |
| Heavy Metals | Lead, cadmium, mercury, antimony, etc. | Varies by metal |
| Phthalates | 6 regulated phthalates | <0.1% by weight |
| PFAS | Permanent chemicals in stain-resistant | Below regulatory limits |
| pH Value | Skin-safe pH range | 4.0–7.5 (human skin contact) |
| Colorfastness | Saliva, sweat, rubbing | Grade 3 minimum |
Product classes: Our carpet products are certified under Product Class II (textiles with direct skin contact), which has the second-highest substance limits in the OEKO-TEX system. This is the appropriate class for residential and commercial carpets and rugs.
BSCI is a leading supply chain social compliance system. It audits factories on labor standards, worker rights, health and safety, and environmental performance. European and North American retailers increasingly require BSCI as a baseline for doing business.
Our factory undergoes annual BSCI audits conducted by accredited third-party audit firms. The audit covers: prohibition of child labor, prohibition of forced labor, health and safety, working hours, wages and benefits, discrimination, environmental compliance, and ethical business practices.
For European buyers: BSCI is the most commonly required social compliance certification. If you supply European retail chains, our BSCI certification meets their supplier audit requirements.
ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems. Certification demonstrates that our factory has documented processes for quality control, production management, incoming material inspection, and continuous improvement.
Our ISO 9001:2015 certification covers all aspects of carpet and rug manufacturing: production planning, material sourcing, manufacturing processes, inspection and testing, packaging, storage, and dispatch. The system is audited annually by an accredited certification body.
Fire retardancy requirements vary by market. Our factory can produce fire-retardant treated carpets and rugs and can provide testing reports or certifications for the following standards:
Market-Specific Fire Standards
| Market | Standard | Description | Availability |
| United States | ASTM D2859 | Surface burning characteristics of carpets | Available on request |
| Canada | CAN/ULC S102 | Flame spread and smoke development | Available on request |
| Europe | EN 1021-1/2 | Cigarette and match flame resistance (furniture) | Available on request |
| UK | BS 5852 | Ignition source for upholstery | Available on request |
| Australia | AS/NZS 1530.3 | Simultaneous determination of ignitability | Available on request |
Note: Fire retardant treatment adds approximately $0.30–0.60 per square meter to the carpet cost and 1–2 weeks to production lead time. Fire retardant chemicals used comply with applicable regulations in the target market. Specify your market's requirements when requesting a quote.
Our factory maintains an in-house testing laboratory equipped to perform routine quality checks on carpet products before shipment:
- Pile weight: Weighing to verify declared weight per square meter
- Pile height: Measurement of carpet pile thickness using standardized gauge
- Colorfastness: Rubbing, water, and light fastness testing
- Dimension stability: Washing and water immersion tests for size change
- Backing adhesion: Bond strength of latex backing to pile fabric
- pH testing: Verification of textile pH within safe range
For formal certification testing (OEKO-TEX, fire retardancy), we work with accredited third-party laboratories such as TESTEX (Oeko-Tex), SGS, Bureau Veritas, and Intertek.
Requesting certificates: When requesting a quotation, please specify which certifications you need for your order. We will confirm availability and provide copies of relevant certificates along with your proforma invoice.
